Today we set the table and made dinner together. It makes my heart warm.
Spent some much needed quiet time and read my 10 pages of a good book. It’s a great feeling knowing that I’m using my time wisely. As of late I haven’t had too many days that I’ve been proud of my time management. God is stretching me.
I haven’t cooked with an electric stove since…ever. Making dinner tonight was a moment where you just have to dive in and go for it. I’m not going to let fear hold me back from using my little baby stove!
We picked up some more stuff and moved it into the apartment. Unpacking has also been happening.
I’ve learned some of my limitations whilst moving. A step stool was a necessary purchase. Adam enjoyed using it too.
Adam and I brought our kitchen stuff to the new place and unpacked it. I’m very proud and SUPER excited to finally have my own cooking space.
Spouse and I took a step forward today: We signed a lease for an apartment. I can’t wait to make our new space homey. [look at how cute our little baby oven is!!!]
When I pick out my outfit for the next day I usually check the weather. Tomorrow I’ve got to be flexible and get up earlier than I do regularly. I’m a little sad face, it might become a habit.
Baby steps towards a goal are still steps.
ACT, I will master you.
ACT Prep Guide, I say ‘groovy’ on the daily, don’t judge!
I listened when it was not what I wanted to hear today. It was difficult, and I didn’t do it perfectly buuuut, I’m okay and I’m on my way.
