I’m very grateful for fellowship. It’s wonderful to have friends. Especially the funny ones.
[This is a photo of victory and defeat. Hannah crushed Josh in a game of checkers. Adam and I began a game and we tied when we had to go in to eat. I think I would have won.]
I mopped our kitchen floor. Not very thrilling, but feels good to have a clean kitchen floor.
Wearing colors and patterns can be very exhilarating.
[Fun Fact: I wore this skit to my high school graduation…the day before I got married.]
Why am I so quick to forget how loved I am when times are bad? When I’m down on myself I appreciate the people God has placed in my life to encourage me and remind me who I am. God knew who I needed around for this season of my life and I couldn’t be more pleased with His choices.
(The transition I’m going through at work was tough on my emotional person today. The people I work with are so great at getting in my boat with me and encouraging me to stay the course. I haven’t felt good enough to do this, but I guess we’re all just in process.)
Working on my marriage isn’t just about reading books and going to conferences [those are important too], the everyday little things matter a lot. A date night in watching a movie is a little thing that can mean a lot in the long run.
