Daily Disciplines: Day One Hundred Thirty Three

Growing up, the women in my family did a lot of jigsaw puzzles; it was a deeply relational thing for them. Because of this, when I want to think or talk through a problem I bust out a puzzle. Recently I’ve had a lot of feels about where I am in life and where I want to be, so Adam and I bought a puzzle… I guess the discipline here is that we all need to have a constructive way to think through issues and sort out our emotions. I’m grateful that I was allowed around the puzzle table all that time to pick up a healthy method to work out my thoughts.

[Thanks for the overly artsy fartsy puzzle photo, Spouse.]
