Daily Disciplines: Day One Hundred Fifty Nine

There are days when I feel like I’m drowning in feels and I’m desperate for someone dive in to help. God gave someone eyes to see me, truly see where I was, and they blessed me. They gave me hope that I felt too guilty to possibly deserve. Crying isn’t really my thing, but this simple gift, served with a smile, made the tears bubble up. When we are running on empty, just a few drops can keep us going. I pray I can see people like this person saw me.

[“You’re a jewel.”]
