Today I made the bed, worked out, watched some movies, sorted out mail stuff… Life is sometimes just that simple: stuff you have to do with some stuff you wanna do sprinkled in.
[Adam and I decided to build our niece a teepee for Christmas. This is the best picture I got of the final product. I kinda wanted to keep it…]
You never stop learning.
[I feel that I may need to commit this chart to memory…]
A very quiet Sunday at home. It was almost dreamy.
[Adam played with his breadboard. I’ve seen what it does but probably couldn’t explain it to you.]
Adam and I took some time to work on decorating our bedroom tonight. We’ve put a lot of work into the living room since we moved in, but our poor room was looking pitiful!
[Also, primpin’ really ain’t easy.]
Cleaning and preparing to have some friends over this evening was all my day really consisted of. The exciting part: I loved every second of today. I loved the sun shining, my new candle burning, the look of a clean bathroom… It was lovely.
[Thanks for my new candles, Spouse!]
Today we celebrated with our families in a variety of ways: FaceTime, early morning breakfast, dinner and conversation, exchanging gifts, a nap… But the most important way we were able to celebrate was with our presence.
[Thanks for the new slippers, Spouse!]
With the holiday just about upon us Adam and I had a lot of preparations to make! Usually we’re done shopping and wrapping gifts early in December, but this year we’ve had to be flexible. So flexible in fact, we will be completing a crafted Christmas gift tomorrow! Gotta catch the zzz’s when you can. Happy Christmas Eve, ya’ll!
[Also, I bought Adam the pajamas he’s wearing in this picture as a Christmas Eve gift. One word: precious.]
Last year I took a photo like this, and it’s crazy to see the progress I’ve made since then! THIS WAY TO THE GUN SHOW!
[This is last year’s photo.]

[This time of year makes me especially appreciate of the great friends we have in our lives. Their love makes life sweeter, their humor makes life more bearable, their questions make me think deeper, and they know me more than I’d care to admit sometimes… Thank God for friends!]
I did the Christmas things. For example, I broke my stocking holder…again. I may have also wrapped some more gifts.
[This is funny.]
